Daphne is a very sweet girl who LOVES giving and receiving affection. This playful girl has still got some puppy energy in her but is very manageable with daily walks and some play time. She loves to play fetch and tug so it's easy to burn off her energy. Because she is still a bit of a "wild child" at times she would do best in a home without young children. She does love kids but when she gets excited she can and will jump on and knock over small kids. Still a little mouthy at times when really excited which again isn't good with small children. Training comes pretty easy with her because she is very food motivated and really wants to please you. So far we've taught her sit, down, wait, and are working on "sit pretty" and paw right now. Still working on loose leash walking but starting to see some progress recently. She is crate trained and close to housebroken.
Daphne is good with other dogs but is a bit intimidated by larger dogs and would need a slow and closely controlled introduction. Rocky first day or two with the resident dog in her foster home but they are good buddies now. She is also a bit lacking in doggie manners and would need potential canine siblings to be tolerant of her antics. Her manners are improving but still have a little ways to go.
