Klare has come such a long way! She was a high Heartworm positive and was treated for it. Extremely underweight due to an extremely high intestinal worm count (which she has been treated for) and she was starving for food. She didn't have a lot of energy and all she wanted to do was sleep in her crate on a comfortable dog bed and get fed as much food as she could eat. Now after many many months of TLC by her foster Mom she's ready to find a home of her own. She's gone through her Heartworm treatment and now wants to live with whomever would enjoy her company. Klare is fantastic with dogs, good with cats, and hasn't met a stranger she doesn't like:). Even though Klare is at a good weight right now she's still looking for food wherever and whenever she can. She has perfected the "art" of counterserving and will "check" the counter from time to time to make sure there aren't any food items left over:)
