Scouts - Adopted on 11/5/2016

Scouts is a sweet, loving dog who has a sense of adventure! He has a calm demeanor and can be a lazy friend at times but loves walks and runs too. He will follow his nose anywhere (and howl to let you know he's found something) so his new family will have to keep an eye on him as he may jump a fence or find a hole to crawl out of. He is not much of a noisemaker otherwise. He can also get excited and chase squirrels, however he is very loving toward humans. He will "sit" "down" and "shake" (sometimes) but would definitely benefit from additional training on the leash and with toys (a bone is his favorite!) He would probably do ok in a house with other dogs, but would be best as the only dog in the house. He was gentle with the few children he interacted with on walks. He would definitely be a loyal 4 legged friend!
