When you hug Lavender she lets out a little grunt like she is saying "Thanks I love you too!"

Lavender was dumped at a shelter by her "human" because she could no longer produce puppies. She was just a source of income for him instead of a loving companion, which is all she ever wanted to be. And when she was no longer "useful" to him, she was discarded like a used car. Lavender was a wonderful and nurturing mother to her many puppies.

After we heard about Lavender and committed to taking her, the shelter in South Carolina put her in a foster home for a few weeks until we could transport her here. The foster family loved Lavender and described her as "a wonderfully loving, sweet, quiet and adoring girl". A "real cuddle bug!!" Their young teenage daughter spent hours loving on Lavender and got even more loving in return from her. She is the one that let us know about her little grunts of contentment and thanks when you hug her!

We are looking to get Lavender into a home - foster or a forever home. If you are interested in this very sweet bulldog girl, please let us know and we promise that you will receive so much love in return!
