Dixie is a fun loving pup who definitely acts like a 10 month old puppy. She loves to play with people, dogs, and generally plays well with toys on her own as well. Dixie has the energy to go, go, go all day but can and does settle nicely in the house with two good walks, some play time, and training each day. As an older puppy she is still a little bit mouthy when excited but she is gentle about it. Very food motivated which should make training pretty easy. Still a big chewer but mostly makes good choices about chewing only on appropriate chew toys. When she does try and chew on inappropriate items she's easily redirected to appropriate items. Due to her occasional bad chewing choices crating when you aren't home is strongly recommended. Dixie is housebroken, walks well on leash, and does well crated during the day with a blanket and some chew toys.
