We saw the plea to save this little girl after she was found with an embedded collar. She is healing very well and her injury has not slowed her down one bit. After we agreed to rescue her from a high kill shelter Libra went into a foster home until we could arrange to have her transported to HART. The foster family loved her - and who wouldn't!!
This is what the foster family had to say about her: "Libra is a very good dog with lots of energy. She loves attention and being close by to her people. Libra likes to sit close to you on the couch or bed. She likes to be petted and stroked often to be reminded of what a good girl she is.
Libra likes to run and jump and play outside. She would do well with an active owner. She would probably love to go on walks or runs. She is still thin so needs to be fed about 3x a day. She would do well in a home with active people. She's very smart but since she is still a puppy some basic obedience training class would be good. She's such a sweet girl whose been through so much. It's amazing her spirit is so playful and sweet! She will make a perfect companion."
Libra wanted to add her two paws to the comments here and this is what she told her former foster parents to say to all of you listening: "Spend some time with me and I will make you so proud! I love running and playing outside and snuggling on the couch. I'm working on my potty training and which chew toys belong to me. I'm a smart girl and would love to show you what I can do!"
