Polly was rescued from a terrible situation in Southwest Virginia with more than 40 other dogs. They were living in squalor with very little to eat. Polly is lucky to have survived and lucky that she didn't have to live in this hell for as long as the others. You can see scars on her face where she was injured by other dogs during their captivity. Polly is sweet and people oriented, good with dogs and happy to be in a loving foster home. Polly will need patience working with food since she has learned to be afraid that she has to defend her food and herself but she is already making wonderful progress and learning that she will never be hungry again.
