Star is a really special girl from South Carolina. Her temporary SC foster had so many great things to say about her!
"What's not to love? She's the total package. She is the perfect balance of calm and playfulness, and she can just as easily go jogging with you as cuddle with you. She loves her blanket on the floor but one invitation and she will happily join you on the couch. Absolutely the easiest foster we've had.
I taught her to fetch a stick - once. The first time I threw it she was eager to retrieve it for me like she was doing me a favor. I could literally hear her saying, " Oh, let me get that for you." Then I threw it again and she just looked at me like, "what did you do that for?""
Star loves playing with other dogs, but is also very respectful of dogs who don't want to play with her. She ignores cats that don't show any fear, but will chase cats that run from her, though we don't think she would hurt them. She loves meeting new people and instantly charms everyone. She's great at taking social cues and knowing when it's time to play and when to settle down. Star also delights in squeaking toys! She is also house trained.
