Laverne and Shirley were strays from a remote Virginia shelter. I would guess they are at least half German short-haired pointer and about 5 months old. Sweeter dogs can not be found!!! They love people! They don't seem to have a ton of experience with anything, but they will override any fear to visit with the people! They are newly arrived, and picking things up very quickly. So far, no accidents in the house, and we had our first ever walk, which went pretty smoothly after the first few minutes. We already know how to sit (sort of)! These are gorgeous dogs, and very photogenic. Both of their personalities are top notch: eager to please, as sweet as they come, medium energy, smart, attentive, good with kids and with other dogs.
