Sambuca - Adopted on 4/18/2015

Got kids? Here's your dog! Sambuca (or Sammy, to her foster family) LOVES children. Her foster mom says Sammy is drawn to her kids and really loves to be with them. Recently, Sammy went to an Easter party where there were a lot of children, and she seemed really happy to be around them. Sammy is very smart, and picks up training quickly when it is done in a positive manner. She is also one of the most beautiful dogs in our line-up, and a great snuggler as well she would love to snuggle right up with you (or better yet, your kids) on the couch, but she is also comfortable being by herself. Okay, we admit, she is not quite perfect don't plan to take her to the dog park, because she is really indifferent to other canines, and prefers the company of people. Out on walks, when she picks up a scent, she will try hard to follow it, and she is stronger than she looks but her foster mom is working on her leash manners, and she is making good progress. With a little training and consistency, Sammy would be a amazing family member and the dog your children will talk about for the rest of their lives.
