Hunny - Adopted on 4/12/2012

Hunny & Cha were born to a horder in MD & then lived with another person for 6 months before coming to HART. The person they lived with had a 5 yr old child, a bunny & 10 other dogs herself, which they got along with. Hunny is still quite timid when she meets new people & is in new situations, so will need a patient owner, but once she has had a couple days to settle in she is very loving & enjoys being held, sitting on laps & giving plenty of little kisses. Hunny is a huge cuddler & follows her foster mom from room to room & loves to fall asleep next to her. While she is mostly people oriented, she does also get along well with the 3 other pups in her foster home. She is only ~9 lbs currently & full grown. She doesn't love baths but tolerates them well. She is pretty quiet in general (even received shots without a peep!), though may bark initially if she sees a dog or stranger outside or hears her owner elsewhere in the house. She does fine in a crate & sleeps through the night. Both Cha & Hunny were initially puppy pad trained inside & were used to going in a fenced back yard, but have now learned to walk fantastically on a leash & do their business on walks. She is doing great, but is not quite 100% housebroken yet. She'd do well in a quieter, gentle home who will continue her training, confidence building & socialization.
