Mugzy knows commands such as "sit", "lay down", "stay" and "no". He is big, goofy, clumsy, and wants love and gives love. He is a handsome boy between three and four years old, potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, stays close to his foster mom. He listens well but he must be properly introduced to other dogs. He has also ignored the household cat. He responds very well to kind words and gentle touch. He is true to his American Bulldog breed and is showing strong dedication to his foster mom and doggy family, with a natural instinct to protect. Once he realizes he is with his human, he will very quickly become your dedicated buddy - seeking out your approval, giving you loving kisses and a gentle paw. He must be properly introduced to new people and dogs alike, but, so far in his foster home, he has always been gregariously happy to meet men and women alike. He hasn't shown any issues with children, but given his size and unknown history, it is suggested he go to a home with no children or much older children only. Mugzy needs an adopter who has experience with large bully breed dogs and focuses on positive training only. He will be a fantastic and amazing dog for the right family. Mugzy is in foster care in Vermont and his ideal home would be in a surrounding state, though, other states may be considered for the ideal family, and ideally as an only dog.
