Baxter is a great little dog with a lot going for him. When he came to us he had an old leg injury and a limp but you'd never know he had been suffering. He had surgery to alleviate his pain and he is doing very well. He is still regaining muscle mass in his injured leg and he may always have a slightly irregular gait, but it shouldn't hold him back. Baxter is good with children 8 and up, dog friendly in the home and with polite dogs and is tolerant of cats. He is house trained and crate trained. Baxter likes to play and loves to walk but will not be super high energy or suited to jogs due to his leg. Baxter is affectionate and fun and a great companion. He can be intimidated when meeting larger or overly excited dogs.
