Sweet Buddy is a neutered male, ~5-6 year old gentle mixed hound. He was first found wandering around a rural VA county after a tornado in 2009. A kind elderly man took him in & they were best friends for years. His first savior recently passed away & his son who then cared for him is being deployed overseas, so Buddy has found himself in need of a home once more. Buddy is housebroken, smart, & trainable. He knows how to give his right foot on command, then left foot & then both feet while he rests on his hindquarters & looks like he's praying. He's very used to the comforts of a home, snoozing on the couch & is even happy to play dress up (as you will see in his picture) :) He is very friendly, enjoys playing with other dogs (with proper introductions) & greeting all people. He can have a tendency to guard resources & as an older gentleman has some chronic pain, so while he does great visiting children he'd do best in a home without. Looking for a couch/walking buddy?
