Kopper is a handsome guy who had a hard start on life. He found himself in a high kill shelter, but HART stepped up to save him. He then came down with Parvo, so HART saved him again by giving him excellent vet care and time to recover. Now that he's feeling better, he is bounding with joy and on the lookout for a home of his own. He is on the high-energy side, playful, and good with other dogs, but can also be pushy and exuberant in his manner. He likes people, but is too much for small kids, so children will need to be at least 14 years old. He also remembers that he got stuck with too many needles when he was sick so he is very leary of being restrained. Kopper is the perfect guy for someone with some dog experience, as a herding dog's smarts and rambunctious nature can sometimes be a lot to handle. If you're ready to invest the time and effort into exercise and training, then Kopper is your guy. He wants to bound into your life and give you a bundle of love in return.
