Laurel & Hardy

These two handsome brothers came to HART from the state of Georgia. Flown in a private airplane by way of Pilots and Paws, the two puppies escaped an almost certain death due to the overpopulation. And maybe they know it - because the way they play with each other, with other dogs, children and an occasional cat can only be described as joyous and care free. In addition to their height difference (Hardy is a leggy fella, while Laurel is dachshund-like, lower to the ground), they are the perfect yin to the other's yen. Hardy is quieter, more introverted during the outside events, while the ever extroverted Laurel can't wait to meet everyone, wagging his tail and licking people's noses. But once at the house, they switch. Laurel becomes the one who wants to sleep next to you on the couch or at your feet, while Hardy is the one who can't stop playing fetching his favorite toys for hours. Despite their young age, they are already crate-trained, housebroken, and even walk well on a leash. No more than 14lbs each, they can and do get a little competitive when it comes to eating, firmly believing the other has the better deal when it comes to food. But at night, when they curl up on top of each other, they radiate absolutely peace.These little guys can't wait to have a family of their own and a home where they can show as much affection and love as their little hearts can express.
