Sabrina is a super sweet girl that would love a calm, patient home to call her own. Sabrina was adopted and returned after 5 years. She had a lot of change in the home and her current foster thinks there were some heightened emotions that Sabrina was very sensitive to which is why she would do best in a calm and relatively quiet home.
Sabrina would do best in a home with some structure and routine to help her with her separation anxiety. She will need to be crated as well for the separation anxiety otherwise she will have accidents and chew (it's only from the anxiety as she is a perfect girl when united with her people). A calm dog in the home also helps her a lot and we recommend she not be an only dog.
She is not very active but does enjoy walks. She particularly likes shorter ones (1 mile is perfect for her) but can do longer (foster has done 5miles before but she will try to have a break). She does really well with other dogs, especially if they are calm - she will feed off their energy, and yours. She loves people and often jumps on them at first but after a few minutes she calms right down. She is good with kids but we have her marked with older just to avoid some of heightened emotions that may come with kids. She is very sensitive to heightened emotions and frustration which can often arise in a home with small children which is why we recommend older kids for her, however, she has done very well with kids of all ages that visit her foster home.
