HART Yard Sale - Sat June 2nd

The HART yard sale is back and we need your stuff!  Items can be dropped off at the sale site during the week before the sale.  So please hold your larger donations until then - we'll give you address details closer to the actual event.  Smaller donations can be collected during adoption events.  Please contact Meg if you have any questions.  Thanks!

For the Love of Rescues Calendar

Submit your photos!

It's that time of year again. Submit a photo of your rescued dog for inclusion in the "For the Love of Rescues" calendar. HART receives a portion of each calendar sold when people choose HART as the benficiary. More pictures of HART dogs means more orders benefitting HART. More orders means more money for HART!

LATEST NEWS as of December 2011

Kaye Kory, our VA Delegate who is sponsoring HART's License Plate, is putting together a bill for the VA General Assembly to be presented in January / February 2012. In order to strengthen the passage of our bill, we need to be close to or reach our goal of 450 applications. So don’t wait... now is the time to submit your application and help push HART to the finish line and make our plate a reality!

So submit your application today! If you've already applied, please ask your family and friends to do the same, and help us reach our goal. If you have questions regarding your existing application, or other inquiries about the plate, please contact Carolyn Adelsten. Show your support. Get a HART license plate.

Looking for another easy way to help HART and homeless animals? Outfit your car with the "I Support Animal Rescue" Virginia license plate! This special-issue plate is a simple way to show the world your love and support of animal rescue while helping to send much-needed funds directly to animals in need. The license plate costs $25 a year (or $35 a year if you have a personalized plate), and for each one sold, $15 of your cost goes directly to HART and the animals under our care every year.  Click here for more info.

HART launches new video on the New Orleans Rescue!

HART has launched a video about the rescue effort! Please send it to all your friends, colleagues, associates or simply, everyone you know! Post it on your Facebook, MySpace, personal and business websites pages to help us get the message out. And don't forget to sign in to YouTube and click "like". It may not go "viral" but we can try!

Video Equipment loan sought to produce HART video!

We are seeking the loan of equipment to help us produce a video to promote our new Sponsor Hope donation program.  The person who will use the equipment is experienced and has a degree in filmmaking.  We anticipate we will need the equipment for just a couple of sessions.

Donate Your Items Through Our eBay Fundraiser!
Simply bring items you would like to donate to iSOLD It. Be sure to specify HART as the beneficiary of the eBay sale when you check your items in. iSOLD It’s experts will handle the rest, including photographing and describing the items on eBay, answering bidder questions, collecting payments from buyers, as well as packing and shipping the items. Then iSOLD It will mail HART a check! 

* iSOLD It is looking for items with a possible value of $50 or more.
