All dogs are welcome.
Dogs must be child friendly. Any dog exhibiting aggressive bahvior will be asked to leave.
Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times.
Please clean up after your pet. Poop bags will be available if needed.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent.
Take Interstate 66 to Exit 52 (Route 29), drive 2 miles south, turn left onto Bull Run Post Office Road, and then follow the signs to the park entrance.
Turn left at the Special Events Area sign; this road will take you right to the HART event.

Start a walking team. The team that brings in the most money in pledges gets a free catered breakfast!

This event brings in much needed funds for the animals of HART. Last year, we had over 160 dogs (300 people!) participate in the walk and raised almost $24,000! The HART Dog Walk is a wonderful way for you to reach out, meet, and get your company known to a very dedicated group of people – animal lovers!
Being a vendor for the dog walk is FREE! We even provide electricity and a mention in the Dog Walk program. It's not required, but a tax deductable donation to HART would be greatly appreciated.
First, complete this form and mail it to the address provided no later then September 30th. Next, show up to the Bull Run Regional Park Special Events area on Sunday October 4th after 8am with your tables, chairs, canopies, signage, and products. Finally, be setup by 11am, and open for business.
You can be a sponsor. For a sponsorship donation, you will receive your business name on over 200 t-shirts and the Dog Walk banner, a half page ad in the Dog Walk program, and a display plaque showing your support for HART. Sponsorships begin at only $200! See the Sponsorship section for details.
You can be a Friend with HART. For a Friends with HART donation, you will receive an ad in the in the Dog Walk program. Ad sizes range from business card sized to half a page. Friends with HART donations start at only $25! See the Friends with HART section for details.
This event brings in much needed funds for the animals of HART. Last year, the Dog Walk raised almost $24,000 for our animals all thanks to generous, tax deductible donations. A Friend with HART donation is a great, inexpensive way for your business to advertise to animal lovers in the event program. The Dog Walk has the potential to put your ad in front of over 400 people!
Note: If you are already a sponsor, a half page ad is included with your sponsorship and you don't need to complete a Friends with HART form!
There are four tiers of Friends with HART. The tier are as follows:
- Business Card (3.25 inches wide by 2 inches high)
- Quarter Page (3.25 inches wide by 4 inches high)
- Half Page (6.5 inches wide by 4 inches high)
- Full Page (6.5 inches wide by 8 inches high)
Friends with HART advertisements have 4 tiers, starting at a $25 donation for a business card-sized ad, $50 for a quarter page ad, $80 for a half page ad, and $150 for a full page ad.
First, complete this form and mail it to the address provided no later then September 15th. Next, submit your print quality artwork (150dpi or higher) in the appropriate size either with your Friends with HART form, or email it to the email address provided on the form.

Register to walk. Got a dog of your own? Register your pet, collect pledges, and win prizes! Do your co-workers own pets? Get together and register a Walking Team. The team that raises the most pledges wins a catered breakfast buffet! See the Register to Walk section for details.
Online registration for the Dog Walk is now closed, but don't worry - you can still register in person at the Dog Walk on Oct 4th! Check-in begins at 11:30AM. We look forward
to seeing you there! And remember, HART is having two great pet contests - one for the best Halloween costume, and one for the funniest pet trick.
