As I sat with our sweet boy today, waiting on the vet to arrive to relieve his suffering, I took off our dear Jake's collar one last time. I looked down and saw the HART tag stamped 2001. I was reminded to be thankful for this organization for the life they chose to give our sweet puppy in 2001.
Jake had a wonderful 14 years with us. He always aimed to please. He never created any problems for us. He was simply, the best dog we could have ever dreamed of owning.
Our hearts are broken today but we are also reminded to be grateful
to the volunteers in 2001 who allowed us to chose and love our boy for so many years.
We love and will miss you Jakerthebakerboy. Chase after those foxes in heaven sweet boy.
