If you want a kind, gentle companion then Early is your dog. He is beyond all the silly puppy antics, and prefers a more relaxing lifestyle. Early enjoys walks, sniffing around the yard, napping, and of course, snuggling. He enjoys the company of his human companions and has realized how great life in a house can be. At first Early was unsure of life in a house, but with gentle reassurance he has decided the indoor life of a pet dog is sweet indeed. He likes attention, especially chin scratching, and may like to be a couch potato. Early is easy to walk with, as he doesn't pull and is happy to trot along by your side. Like many of us, he has let his figure slide, so he is on a weight control program to shed those pesky ten pounds. Early is house trained, and enjoys his crate, although he would probably be fine without one. Early enjoys the company of other dogs, and enjoys the morning play session, but doesn't like dogs that are too frisky. Initially, Early will need some TLC to adjust to his new environment, but he will settle in just fine. The beginning of Early's life was not a happy one, and now Early is eager to find his second, happy, forever home. Come spend some time with Early at one of our adoption events.
