Hello, my name is Herschel and I am the best buddy ever!! I am a super sweet wirehaired-chocolate lab mix. I make a loyal companion and absolutely love people. Even though I seem a little shy at first I am very outgoing and friendly. I am housebroken and walk easy on a leash. I also am very well mannered and don't jump! Kids, dogs and cats are no problem for me, I'm a gentle dude. I would prefer a home where someone would be able to keep me company for most of the day. I love people so much that I get really nervous when they leave for too long. A few hours here and there I am fine with, but all day every day stresses me out. Loud noises also tend to scare me, such as thunderstorms and fireworks. If I get scared, all you need to do is comfort me a little and I'll be just fine. I know this is a lot to ask for, but I am a genuinely sweet boy who just needs a little extra love and attention so I can get over my anxiety and find a forever home.
