Jovian is a super sweet boy. Like many working hounds from rural Virginia he was probably mistreated by the hunters who kept him. He will cower to a loud voice or threatening gesture. Jovian is very interested in people and wants to please. He seems happy and wanting to do the right thing. Jovian probably hasn't lived in a home so he does need to learn basic manners and probably needs to learn some house breaking skills but based on his willingness to please I think he will be a super family companion. So far Jovian is a bit fearful of other dogs but we are hoping he will come around as he gets more comfortable with us.
