Though clearly mixed, Angie is practically your prototypical mini-Schnauzer: smart and sassy, with a fair prey drive. If you love the terrier personality but don't want the super high energy that usually comes with it, Angie is your girl! She can be a bit bossy (she's a terrier), but she takes correction quite well. Angie is playful and affectionate with people and loves doing tricks for treats. She'll let you know when someone is coming to the house and re-settles nicely. The real surprise is how much she enjoys jousting with our daughter's visiting terrier. Out on walks, she is generally good about walking with other dogs, but like most dogs, she does not like face-to-face meetings with new dogs. Her leash manners are improving daily. Angie is completely house- and crate-trained and knows better than to jump on the furniture! And she's not your typical high energy terrier, like many of the younger ones. A couple of 30-minute walks and some backyard play are all she needs. Angie is looking for a home with an experienced owner. She will be a wonderful addition to a dog-savvy household.
