Sue is a perfect mixture of strong and girly, tough and gentle, smart and silly. Loves to play, but is never too rambunctious or loud. She'll focus on you every time you walk into the room, but she is not a Velcro pet. Knows how to walk perfectly on a leash beside you, Sue is eager to learn, and will pick up commands on the first try. She is good with other pets, especially those similar to her in size or slightly larger because she is such a muscular and physically powerful dog. Fully grown, perfectly housebroken and crate-trained, Sue is still learning how not to scarf her entire meal in one go. Because of that, it's a good idea to feed her in her own space. She is not food aggressive and will demonstrate the softest mouth technique when taking treats out of your hand. She even knows how to half-sit and will learn full "sit" command in no time if you ask her to. We don't know why she ended up at a rural shelter, but we are certain this girl is more than ready for a family of her own. Someone to share her life with, to learn habits of and wag her tail for when she first opens her eyes in the morning.
