Henrico - Adopted on 9/12/2015

SWEET, SWEET, SWEET! That is what everyone who meets Henry says about him. He is just so sweet! Henry was found in a rural area by a Good Samaritan. Actually he found her. He showed up at her house starving (skin and bones is how she described him) and dehydrated. She gave him water and food, which he eagerly accepted, and then he retreated to the woods. The next day she put out more food and water for him, and the next day and pretty soon Henry became a regular visitor. He enjoyed hanging out with her while she gardened or sat outside on her deck, he played nicely with the neighbors' dogs, and he was very respectful (and a little afraid) of her cat. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep Henry and trusted HART to find this adorable dog a great home. Henry is a little shy and doesn't have much experience with leashes, but he is so kind and good-natured, and he wants so much to please that introducing him to all the things he's missed out on should be a joy. Come meet this southern gentleman and you are sure to fall in love.
