Poor Buddy Coco was in a rural shelter with a blocked salivary duct which caused his face and neck to swell. Antibiotics just weren't doing the trick and he needed surgery. No one is going to adopt a dog with a softball sized swelling. Thanks to HART, he is safe now, the blockage has been corrected and he is all healed up. And in a testament to his amazing personality he has been nothing but gentle, kind, and loving even through all the poking and prodding. No complaints here just a wagging tail and a look of "hey why did you stop petting me". Buddy is medium energy dog. He loves going for walks but in the house, he prefers to be a couch potato. He is house-trained and although he easily goes into a crate when you ask him, he really doesn't like it too much. He is very polite in the house, only chewing appropriately on some toys and the occasional bone. Buddy is friendly with all people, big or small and doesn't seem to mind the hustle and bustle of family life. He is a little picky about his dog friends. He gets along well with his foster family's dog but has some problems with other dogs at the adoption events. Now all he needs is his forever home.
