Ruben is a happy-go-lucky boy with a love for life. He came all the way from a high kill shelter in New Mexico on the Operation Transportation project. Ruben is a young boy, probably about one year of age, so he still has a bit of fun puppy left in him. He is friendly to all he meets, both human and canine. He would be an excellent companion to another playful dog. Ruben is around 30 pounds, so he is a mini-lab mix. Ruben may need to learn a few house manners, as dogs in the area he came from are rarely kept inside, but showing him how to live in a comfy warm house will be rewarded by his undying gratitude.
