Nyla is a very sweet dog with a loving, gentle nature who is looking for a forever home, and warm loving lap, where she can lay her weary head. Nyla's previous owner was a homeless veteran and the two of them, plus another dog, were living out of her car for a long time. Despite the hardship Nyla was very loved and cared for as well as could be under the circumstances. In trying to improve all their lives, and find housing, her previous owner asked for help with Nyla, as she could not find any place she could afford that would take a bulldog. HART agreed to foster Nyla and get her some much needed vet care. We had all hoped that Nyla would be reunited with her family, but unfortunately that did not work out, and her former mom has relinquished ownership and asked us to find her dear Nyla a loving home.
Nyla is so sweet and so good, she would fit in almost anywhere. She is obedient and learns quickly. She is crate-trained and house-trained. She likes other dogs and is happy to share her home with them. She gets very excited about going for walks, but a few minutes into the walk she will settle down and walk nicely. Nyla is an affectionate girl and loves belly rubs and back scratches. She is really a joy to have around and would make some lucky person a devoted, gentle, loving companion.
