Sweet Marte found herself in a rural shelter this past January with a bad injury to one of her rear legs- while she is one less leg now, she is all heart. When you start to pet Marte, she closes her eyes and leans into you, as if she's savoring every moment and every morsel of affection. This girl is extremely easy to love & has charmed everyone she has met in her journey, she's incredibly grateful for any attention and has a mellowness to her that's utterly endearing. Marte enjoys the company of other dogs & has also been fostered with cats (whom she ignores). She adores children (she even slept in bed with a fosters young daughter). She's very low-key, sweet to the bone & loves to be by her families side. There is nothing Marte wants more then returned love.
