Poor Bandit had a tough start to life. He was dumped on the side of the road as a mere baby in rural VA & was discovered there & taken home by a family that didn't vaccinate him & only brought him to the vet when he got sick a week later. He quickly recovered, his treatment was paid by the vet tech herself as he was such a charming pup, but despite going back home with this family they decided a couple days later they no longer wanted him. They brought him to the high kill shelter in town, but the shelter was closed, so they just took him to the car wash down the road, tossed him out of the car & kept driving. Luckily a woman saw him being tossed, noticed he was missing some hair on his leg where he had been shaved for an IV & mentioned the incident to the vet clinic, stating he must recently have been treated there. The vet tech knew immediately who the pup must be, & made it to the car wash in time to save him yet again. Bandit is an amazing sweet pup, is always happy/smiling & tail never stops wagging. He has some energy (medium), as do all pups his age, so will need regular exercise. He loves other dogs & shares food well. He is submissive but also outgoing & friendly & loves to be by his humans side. He is very smart, food motivated & learned 'sit' in a single day. He is fantastic for car rides. He sleeps through the night without a peep. Don't miss your chance to meet this adorable sweet boy, he will make a great addition to a lucky family
