Nika has a very unique personality with characteristics common to her rare breed. Having been originally rescued for abuse, she's a little timid of people but once she bonds with her new "pack", is a loving, protective, and caring companion. Nika is very "pack" oriented and needs to find her place in your household. As such she does not do well with small children, and will take a protective role defending her pack from outsiders. Nika enjoys other dogs of all breeds and sizes, and plays like a puppy when engaged! She is a quiet dog, except when alarmed, but will not hesitate to vocalize with you in playful communication if prompted! Nika's ideal home is with mature adults who don't mind or prefer her protective nature. Another dog in the household would be great for her as well, but not required. Nika is crate trained, potty trained, keeps off furniture, and is non-destructive when given her own toys.
