Chuggie is a real sweet heart, one of those dogs that you could hug on all day and he'd let you! Great with people, kids, other dogs, loves car rides, house trained, reportedly good with cats, what more could you ask for? He's got an amazing look to him you just have to come see, a St. Bernard head with the body of a spaniel and the temperament of a gentle giant. He has his moments of joy where he'll zip around butt wagging and playful but he's also happy to just lay in a sunny spot snoozing away the day. Poor little guy got the short end of the stick however as far as his people not providing basic preventative care. As a result he came to us with a few treatable tick borne infections as well as heart worm (carried by mosquitoes). But no worries, those nasty tick infections are gone as is the heart worm. Oh, did I mention he loves belly rubs and often sleeps on his back (wouldn't want to miss a belly rub just because you happen to be napping now would you?). Now he just needs a forever home with awesome people to match how awesome he is.
